Hi there!

My name is Cindy Muncie, and God’s call on my life has led me to serve Sumter Methodist Church as the Pastor.

I am originally from Columbia, SC. I grew up on and near the campus of Columbia International University, where my father worked for four decades. I am one of six children, four of whom are in Christian service. We had a wonderful childhood with two faithful and gracious parents. We learned early on to value God’s Word, serve others with sacrifice, and constantly communion with our Lord who loves us and gave His life for our own.

We want the same path to mature discipleship of Jesus Christ for every disciple and their family. If you want to participate in growing deeper in faithfulness and service and lead your family into deeper holiness of life and heart, let that journey begin at Sumter Methodist Church!

Sumter Methodist Church is a prayer fueled, Bible based, family focused, modern traditional church seeking to make a space for all people to grow truer in faithfulness, servant leadership, and scriptural holiness. We gather to worship and listen for God’s next call to love others as Christ loved us. We gather to discern who are the least, lost, and lonely that need our witness of the love of God for all people. Then we yield ourselves, our church, and our resources to God’s leading into spiritual adventure!
